Creamy Baked Mushroom Bread #BreadWorld
A new twist of making your white bread into more appealing and tasty. Apply your own ideas for making this one. Best for breakfast and snack.
Ingredients:
1 small loaf white bread
1/2 lb. mushrooms, finely chopped
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 cup butter
1 scallion, finely chopped
Procedures:
1. Saute mushrooms in butter. Add in lemon juice, heavy cream, salt, garlic powder, flour and scallions.
2. Cook until creamy and thick.
3. Preheat oven to 425.
4. Remove mushroom mixture from stove.
5. Dip bread into mixture on both side. Place on cookie sheet and bake on each side for 5−8 minutes.
